Northrop Grumman’s Space Systems Exhibit is a unique interactive exhibit housed in an airy three-corridor space on the lobby level of the company’s executive tower in Redondo Beach. Intended to provide visitors with an up-close-and-personal look at the company’s rich heritage, the exhibit is filled with models of legacy aircraft and spacecraft from the inception of airflight through the dawn of space exploration all the way to the present. At one interactive display, visitors can select weather data from the company’s many earth-observing satellites that can be accessed at the touch of a finger on the Visual Globe.

Ecolab’s City of Industry Plant built in 1967 is situated on 7.8 acres in City of Industry and operates 24/5. The manufacturing facility tour will include a safety briefing in a conference room, and a view of the 9 production lines that produce cleaning products for Ecolab’s Industrial Cleaning, Institutional, Food and Beverage, Textile Care, and Teat Dips divisions. Our product families also include FDA Animal Drug, cosmetic, and food additives. All of our products are liquid with packaging ranging from 1 gallon to bulk trucks.
Visitors will view our mixing, packaging, and storage facilities. Our customer examples include Sysco, United Dairymen, Veterinarians Outlet, US Food, Farmer John, White Wave, Hilmar Cheese, Dean Foods, and Yoplait USA, among others.

The Future of Water and Power Resiliency: Tour of LADWP’s Tujunga Wells and Green Meadows – $55.00 – SOLD OUT

Join us on this tour of two of LADWP’s newest resiliency projects! First, you will explore the construction site of the Tujunga Well Field Response Action Facility to remove legacy groundwater contaminants and reduce reliance on imported water supply. This large-scale treatment facility will help restore access to one of the City of L.A.’s most critical local water sources: The San Fernando Groundwater Basin, which can provide up to 21% of the water supply for over 4 million residents.
The second stop will be the Green Meadows Resiliency Project. Located at a recreation center in South Los Angeles, Green Meadows is an innovative example of power resiliency and community partnership in action, and it will help contribute to the goal of 100% zero-carbon energy by 2035. The facility will host a solar rooftop, solar carports and shade structures, and energy storage that will support LADWP’s distribution grid, while providing Rec and Parks with emergency power during a power outage. This facility will also host four EV chargers that will be available for public charging and the expanding L.A. City fleet. Our facility includes:
- STARS Mission Operations Center: In the Spacelift Telemetry Acquisition and Reporting System, a group of highly skilled analysts monitor every aspect of a rocket launch, starting hours before the launch actually lifts off. Launch is a risky business. One small mistake can result in mission loss, where the consequences can be costly, both in terms of money and loss of capabilities.
- Chemical and Electric Propulsion Research Facilities: This lab is one of the world’s foremost facilities for the advanced study of electric propulsion thrusters. The site can perform assessments that only a few other places in the United States can. The facility’s capabilities include the ability to remotely perform high-hazard experiments in a reinforced test cell with laser access, high-speed data acquisition and automated control systems, and diagnostic instruments.
- Mechatronics Research Laboratory (MRL): Premier facility for testing and evaluating control system hardware, including electromechanical, electro-optical, and optomechanical devices. The MRL’s extensive experience enables rapid response in engineering testing, including system design evaluation, analytical model validation, and anomaly resolution. The laboratory can also design new capabilities to meet emerging needs.
- Collaborative & Autonomous Vehicle Ecosystem (CAVE): Provides an environment and ecosystem for research, development, integration and testing of autonomous sub-systems and systems using Vicon motion capture cameras, robotic arms, rovers, and drones, to explore how increased autonomy and collaborative robotics will make autonomous space systems manageable.
